BTS' latest album Arirang has topped Billboard's main album chart in the United States.
After sweeping the U.K. chart as well, the group is now setting its sights on No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100.

BTS' new album 'Arirang' debuted at number one on Billboard's 200 album chart.
The K-pop mega band returned as a complete group after three years and nine months.
Billboard reported that 'Arirang' outdid Luke Combs' 'The Way I Am' and Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem' to capture the top spot on the main album chart.
'Arirang' recorded 641,000 equivalent album units in the latest tracking week, setting a record high for a group since December of 2014 when the Billboard 200 album tracking began.
This is the seventh No.1 on Billboard 200 for BTS.
As of 2022, BTS had put six of their albums on Billboard 200's No.1 spot since the group became the first K-pop artist to top the list in 2018.
BTS' fifth regular album also topped the U.K. Official Albums Chart announced on March 27th, beating out some of the top industry titles.
Having dominated both American and British album charts immediately after their comeback, BTS aims to debut No.1 on Billboard's Hot 100 to be announced on March 31st with the title track 'SWIM'.
