Czech MPs debate requests on lifting parliamentary immunity of PM Babis
Czech Chamber of Deputies Speaker, Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) party's chairman Tomio Okamura (R) attends a parliamentary session that will consider lifting his parliamentary immunity in Prague, Czech Republic, 05 March 2026. Okamura faces prosecution in connection with campaign posters used by the Freedom and Direct Democracy movement ahead of the Senate and regional elections the year before last.
